Interesting Illustration

During my research, I found a magazine cover that was particularly interesting because it contained an illustration rather than a photograph as the main feature on the cover. I felt that this was actually more appealing than all of the various covers I had seen that contained photographs and therefore decided to use this idea in the design for my own cover. The illustration may also appeal to the young adult audience I am aiming for because it provides a more informal feel.
