I continued my colour scheme of red, black, and white, from my front cover, as this makes it more professional as it is a continuous theme. I also used the same font on the "Contents" title as I did on the title for Mayhem on my front page. From my research, I found out that most magazines divide their contents pages into the main features in the magazine, and then the recurring features which they include every month, so I decided to used this in my magazine. I have included the page numbers on the left hand side, and under the main features I included a sentence about what the article includes.I used the font Myriad Pro for my text as it is a clear and easy to read text. I also included pictures relating to the articles, and put a caption on these images of who the person is, and what article and page number.

I used my research for ideas about the layout and also what articles to include, and what would appeal to my target audience.I have included typical magazine conventions such as the central image, the price and date, and a slogan, to make it look professional. I have used the colour scheme red, black, and white, as these are popular and common colours in other music magazines, as the are not specific to one gender, and they work well together. The colour red is also very eye catching, so will catch peoples attention. I included a lot of articles and artists on the front, so that people interested in them artists would want to buy the magazine to read about them.

For our magazine, we used students from the student union as the central image, and had another image of an art sculpture. We had our title and slogan at the top, and a barcode at the side. These features are all typical features you would see on a magazine cover, so we used all of these to make it look like a realistic magazine.
