The News report will begin by having a very brief headline section showing our main and secondary stories will little detail and mention other important headlines.

We could use this story as a stepping stone to link with the question: Are teenagers becoming more violent or is the media biased? Get views of people.

We will start by reading the headline of this story and give a brief overview of what happened and who was involved etc. We will then ask the question: Are teenagers becoming more violent or is it just bad press? Then we’ll say “ took to the streets to get your reactions” we will then insert the report with interview clips with students and then cut back to studio, Mention radio contact details and move on to next story.

We could use this as a light-hearted story – maybe link to economic downturn

Outline facts of story and ask for opinions again from listeners. Link with the fact that we are in a recession and money is short but things like this happen.

Short news story headline / maybe short sound clip

Talk about the impact it’s going to have on the film’s success. Have a cinema representative or cinema expert giving their views. (Bev)

Light-hearted / Random Funny story / improvise as we go

Start with the sound clip and then talk about the story.

We need a sports story too but it would be better to get one nearer the time of recording to make sure it’s up to date.

Weather - we can look at a weather report on the day of recording and adapt it.
