The weather wasn't as nice as we hoped when we got to Rivington, but it was necessary to get some initial shots to create the sketches for the wall as they are time consuming. We chose Rivington as our main filming location due to the scenic background which would go nicely with our character. Also the aging features allow the film to look more visually stunning and would also create a older time period.
We found a gorgeous place to film the accident. A waterfall with a small pool.
The waterfall has many sections to film and this is just part of it. On a lovely day the sun would reflect off the pool and and highlight many features. It would also create a nice atmosphere needed to cause contrast.
Features:
When the weather becomes brighter as it nears spring, the foliage of the trees with start to develop and so would the vegetation around the area giving it the correct ambience. Of course there are still many areas that can be used within the filming, these are just some examples.
