This is the beginning of our script for our opening sequence, with some basic camera shot ideas.
Shots:
• Shot of young Isobel laying out her writing ‘gear’.
• Shot of young Isobel reading a book.
• Shot of crayons and writing gear – close up
• Close up of her face
Isobel: One of my favourite writers, Cecelia Ahern once said “Shoot for the moon, even if you fail, you'll land among the stars” this has been my perception of life since I was a little girl. I’ve always wanted to be a writer. Why? I don’t know. I guess some people are just born with a dream.
I was the little girl who would rather lose herself in a good book than play hide and seek in the playground. I started to write my first novel at the tender age of 9...ok, so it was never going to be a bestseller, but it was my first success. I was going to be a writer.

Shots:
• Running to the entrance
• Dropping books and file – maybe walking into Hannah?
• Close up of looking at watch
• Entering the building
My name is Isobel Hart, well, that’s what it says on the legal documents, but everybody calls me Izzy. So, technically I’m a writer...I’m a journalist, for Teen Queen Magazine – it pays the bills, but gossip definitely isn’t my forte. Literature is my niche. In my backlog: Six novels. Five rejected. One pending. Successful? One day. Watch this space.
Natalie, Liz and Hannah.
