Over shoulder of opening of note cuts to XCU of note ‘directed by etc’. Reaction shot of concern, confusion and note is passed back with ‘casting’. Music ends.
Teacher: That’s it for today guys, don’t forget, I want your essays by Monday!
Sound effect of chairs being moved back across floor and general chat.

Scene 2: Corridor
Match on action of opening handle and two girls entering corridor, Alexa is featured in the centre.
Nicole: So! Who is he? Your notes were so cryptic!
Alexa: He’s... just no one.
Nicole: And what about Dorian?
Alexa: He loves himself to notice.
Nicole: Well just be careful okay?
Pan following Alexa turning her head, looking directly into the camera.
Alexa: I’ll see you later...
Camera shows Alexa walking away from camera.
Nicole: Lexi? We’re are you...
Alexa: Later!
Close up of Nicole’s confusion, she sighs and walks away, wide angle shot of the two walking in opposite directions. Mezzo-piano to underscore part of scene and create sound bridge.

Scene 3: Courtyard
Crane shot of library? Cut to Alexa trying to catch up with Matt.
Alexa: Hey, Matt! Hold on.
Matt turns looking confused, smiling shyly when he see’s Alexa.
Matt: Oh, hello. Um, how are you?
Alexa: I’m fine, listen, I’m having some trouble with my Algebra. Is there any chance I could catch up with you at dinner and we could go through chapter ten?
Matt: mm sure. Will Dorian mind?
Alexa: He has football, I just won’t mention it to him.
Matt: Oh, okay sure. Though he might want to know why you’re talking to someone like me *pointing behind Alexa*
Alexa: someone like what? *turning round to see Dorian approaching* Oh, I’d better go...
Point of view, wide shot watching Alexa walk to Dorian, jump cut to closer, jump cut to CU of other angle as they lean in then other angle as they kiss, but to zoomed out as they walk away holding hands but with distance between them. Song with piano accompaniment (Gabby).
