Alot of my ideas have come from the magazine NME, i have looked at photos for all the pages and are basing mine off that (I'll post the photos later). I have also used their colour scheme as it has a fresh, cool and modern look; which should appeal to my target audience. In addition to this i will include some colour on certain words on my front cover to help the headlines stand out, which has been take from the magazine Blender.
On my double page spread i will have a large image that will have text going over it however the text may not be clear enough to see and this may be a problem, this was a homage to NME.
My contents page will have an image in the top right corner and text going down the left and across the bottom this gives the page detail but does not make the page look too complicated.

Now you have documented you research begin to post updates on the progress of your project. This should combine both text and images and will provide a valuable resource for you to draw on when evaluating your project.
