Recky Photos

For my front cover i have decided to have 3 'band members' in seedy-looking settings. To acheive this i went to Wigan Mesnes Park to get some recky photos so that i could find some places that I think would look good on a magazine cover, in particular, one for an indie magazine.

Graffiti

I decided to choose a wall with a lot of graffiti because i think it creates the sort of dodgy look that i want it to have. Also, with having graffiti on the wall in the background, it would be easy in the long run because it means there is less to do on photoshop when it comes to editing my magazine.

Woods

I have chosen the woods as another area to have my photoshoot. However, I don't think this would be as good as the graffiti because I think the lighting would be a major factor for the photos as it could easily go wrong.

Bandstand
I think the bandstand in Mesnes Park would be a perfect place to have a photoshoot. i can arrange each band member to lean up against a pillar and pose with instruments and microphones. However, I am not planning on having the bandstand featuring on the main cover, but instead it can be on a smaller picture on the double page spread.

Steps

I think the steps on Mesnes park would be perfect to take pictures for pictures on the inside of my magazine. I will arrange them to sit in a certain pattern and include it as the main picture on the inside cover.
