Sound Effects

We used various sound effects throughout our radio show. For example:

• 'Whoosh' the transition between the outside broadcast and the recorded interview
• The taxi starting, the club music and the champagne glasses clinking during Laura's recorded interview.
• The ambience sound played over the top of the outside broadcast to create a night time, clubbing atmosphere and to create the impression that Tom was outside.
• Sirens and gangs of rowdy people during the outside broadcast, we believed this would enhance the realism of the outside broadcast, as these are typically noises you would hear on a busy street at night time.
