
- First I cropped the image to get rid of any access background that I didn’t need and dragged the image to fit over an A4 canvas.
- I brightened the image to make it clearer; I also adjusted the contrast accordingly and lightened the background so I stood out against it.
- Then I got rid of any blemishes or imperfections on the photo so the viewer wasn’t distracted, I also used auto-colour to make the colour look more natural and evened out.
- I then brightened up my eyes and sharpened them to make them stand out more.
- I used the dodge tool to make the broach stand out just like in the research to Annie Mac’s cover photo and increased the saturation to keep the golden colour.
