Photo shoot

I decided to do a photo shoot to find an image which I could use for the front cover of my magazine; since it was a country magazine I decided that I would use an acoustic guitar as a prop within the image. Also I thought some of the photo locations which I took pictures off before, would be really good locations to take photos.

After finding a suitable person who would model for my front cover, I arranged a date for when the photos will be took. When the day finally arrived the weather was sunny and bright, this was really good as I wanted to give the magazine a ‘sense of summer. The photos which I took were really good and I thought that they had turned out better than I had expected.

I then needed to decide which of the photo’s was the most suitable for the front cover. After narrowing down the images to three, I then picked the winning image (seen below). I picked this image because I think it best symbolised the country theme, I felt the location and position of the person really would suit the magazine cover.
