I have finally completed my double page spread. Following the last draft there are several elements I decided to add. Firstly, I created a drop capital at the beginning of the first column of the interview to give the text a kick-start feel and to immediately grab the readers attention. I also added a background colour of yellow to it to liven it up, this is the same colour I used on the front cover which links the two together. I also added a quote which I felt would entice the audience of young women and encourage them to read on: "I love mixing thing up and doing something different. That way it doesn't get boring" This quote makes the text seem exciting and attracts the readers attention. I also added Jordan's name underneath to confirm that she said it and added the background colour yellow to the name to again link with the cover. In the top right hand corner I decided to add a small box stating the artists name and what she is talking about: "Jordan on festivals and her new album". This tells the reader that the artist will be talking about, of course, her new album and festivals. Providing the reader with this information will briefly sum up the text and decide to read it knowing what it will basically be about. I used yellow, black and grey in this box to tie all the colours used on the front cover and in this feature together and make it all link up.
