Our first week (planning)

We started our first week by planning our opening scene. We decided our plot, title and basis of our film on the Wednesday lesson and decided to film our opening shot on the Friday. Due to unforseen obstacles, we could not start filming Friday as planned.

For our project we got our inspiration from "mean girls" and "90210." We want to create a British version of the the typical American bitchy chick flick.
To make it more modern we decided on a sophisticated costume with a black and grey colour theme for the main charactars. Simalar to St Trinians but without the uniform style.

We decided that our film will be narrated by a voiceover that we wrote in wednesdays lesson.
However we recorded it and discovered it is only 45 seconds long, so more content will have to be added to make it last at least 90 seconds.

Throughout our opening sequence and titles we are going to have a pop/punk song playing, although we haven't decided what that will be yet.

I feel that we have had a productive week of planning as now everything is sorted out and organised for us to hopefully start filming in Wednesdays session.
