Firstly i looked at professional front covers to magazines, when researching this one magazine stood out the most to me; NME. I really like the way out of NME's front covers, they have lots of information on them but not to much. They are bright and colourful, it has lots of different typography and imagery which is always important have in print advertising. These catch the readers eye and want them to find out more.

Here are some of my favourite NME front pages i have researched..

Looking at all these magazine covers you can see they all have a artist/band in the centre of the page. This is so they stand out and are the first thing you look at. I feel i need to focus on an artist to succseed in a good and professional front cover. The artist i'am going to focus on is Lady Gaga. This is because she is such a talented and original artist. Shes quirky and stands out from any other artist/band i know.
