After deciding that this was the best logo to use, I decided to try size and colour variations. Here, I have altered the "E" to lower case and rotated it to add another dimension to the logo.
I changed the colour of the "E" to tie in with the red bands on the cover, and to also make the continuous black of the logo more varied. However, since the red letter is at the end, it would be too close to the red band and therefore would not give the desired contrasting appearance.
