Choosing the cover photo

After I chosen my three cover photos I decided to edit them on Photoshop to see which would edit the best and look the best for my magazine. Here is what they turned out like:


I like this one but think it would look better inside on the double page spread as her pose (leaning forward) gives a more personal and open impression, which would reflect on her story.

I think my pose on this picture is a little too shy. I like how it is edited but I don't think i look very comfortable or confident so I won't be using this.

I think this picture is perfect for the front cover. The pose is quite forward and confident showing Jordan's new start and how she is prepared to take on the festivals. I also think it has edited well, I increased the contrast and brightness to make it stand out. Also I lightened the broach on my top to make it stand out just like Annie Mac's necklace stands out on the Mixmag cover I researched. I also brightened up my eyes using the dodge tool to give the same standing-out effect.
