Here are the images I took for my front cover. I took a series of mid-shots, long-shots and close-ups. I told the model to dress in clothes that were similar to the style of the cover stars of magazines such as "Q" and "NME", therefore, jeans and a T-shirt with trainers and a leather jacket. The model was meant to appear as a representative of the Indie genre. She also held a guitar which further showed the type of music she was representing and the backgrounds used were a fence and a brick wall, inspired by some of the backgrounds used on the covers of Indie magazines. The brick wall creates an urban feel, therefore emphasising the energetic nature of young adults who like going out frequently. It also implies an "underground" look which Indie bands and unknown artists are usually associated with and therefore provides the magazine and the cover artist with a sense of credibility.
